Layout Engineer (all genders) - full-time (40 Std.)

Where you keep things moving

  • You will develop precise, implementation-ready system layouts in AutoCAD for new builds, conversions and the modernisation of existing customer facilities within an international project environment.
  • You will analyse existing system configurations, material flow and site-specific conditions, and develop competitive mechanical layout concepts that optimally support technical and commercial solutions.
  • You adapt layouts quickly and effectively – based on customer feedback, design iterations and dynamically evolving requirements during the quotation and sales phase.
  • You work closely and across departments with engineering and project teams to ensure the smooth integration of proposed layout adjustments into existing systems.

How to reach your destination

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a qualification as a technical draughtsman.
  • Experience (min. 3–5 years) in layout engineering, mechanical design or a similar technical role in the field of materials management or logistics automation (DIN EN 619).
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Inventor or SolidWorks would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including in English.
